JOHN TREVELLINI is an artist, producer and maker living in Queens, NY. He is currently a controlling partner at Puppet Phactory and holds a staff position at Columbia University Theatre Arts Program. His directing, writing and design have gained praise from the New York Times, Time Out New York and the New York Metro. He's held positions and worked on projects for Columbia University, Abingdon Theatre Company, Daryl Roth Productions, The New York International Fringe Festival, World Maker Faire New York, Red Bull Creation and other numerous off and off-off Broadway productions. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Navy and served during the Gulf War in the Red Sea. While working at Latrobe Steel Company after his enlistment, he continued to work on his Bachelors degree graduating Summa Cum Laude from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. In 2005, he earned an MFA in Playwriting from Carnegie Mellon University and moved to New York with his wife and children where he currently resides and pursues his career as an artist and storyteller.
